DJ7TRE has grown to become the driving force behind some of the biggest events in the entertainment industry domestic and international. Since 7tre emerged on the scene in the early 2000’s he has had the same goal, to share his love for music andcreate the perfect atmosphere for a night to remember. He is now currently based in Atlanta GA. But still splitting a large amount of time in his previous residents Miami FL. Which he remains apart of a roster of elite resident djs. 7Tre is known for the energy the he brings to every set. Taking the crowd on a thrill ride night after night. He loves to keep everyone in attends on their toes, with is open format style of song selections. Performing smooth transitions and personal mixes of pop, hip hop, EDM, r&b, Soca, house Reggae and Latin. He prides himself with going into every performance with no pre recorded mixes or playlist. This guarantees that no set will sound the same. His motto is “I just play what makes the people move”
The road to becoming a full-time DJ is not easy at all, in my opinion, and I will tell you why. With all the technology available today, the art of DJing has been made quite simple. From a person being able to get any song from the comfort of their home to then being able to mix these songs with a press of a button. It really seems to take no effort at all. As a result, everybody feels that they can become a DJ. I am sure everyone has at least one family member that says they are a DJ. This causes the market to become (even more) saturated, which means the service is easy to receive at a low rate because there are so many options. Going into this career field, you really must commit to standing out. You must be unique so you can get multiple bookings, which will lead to creating a demand for YOU and garner higher paying gigs. Creating a distinct style as a DJ not only creates an exclusive space for you in the field but also allows you to buy milk, bread and cover your bills each week.
